my unreal 5.4 is crashing while i tried to create or open a new project , in compiling shaders segment , i even reinstalled the unreal engine also slean installed the nividia drivers but my issue is not resolved ?

my unreal 5.4 is crashing while i tried to create or open a new project , in compiling shaders segment , i even reinstalled the unreal engine also slean installed the nividia drivers but my issue is not resolved ? mine is a new laptop and i had a 4060 graphics in my laptop , first of all it was opeining the project while compiling the shaders at some 2 digit number beside it the unreal is crashing , how can i resolve it ?

  • Go to your project folder, delete the folder Intermediate and CacheDerived
  • Download nvidia studio driver(latest)
  • try to switch level map to a basic one (instead of the default map)
  • try to switch RHI 11 or 12 from the project setting > windows

same issue i tried all of the steps. i think there is an issue with the 5.4 version i tried to install 5.3 it is working well
