I’m in 5.3 and when I click and launch my project it’s keep crashing after loading up and wont let me get to the editor screen. I’ve been working on this project for awhile, it started after I added some futuristic outpost too I noticed. Do I delete the saved content in the folder as in in the project folder should I delete the saved folder and run it?
Try to delete only the folder Intermediate and derivedcache, let it recombile shaders.
Make a copy of your project, delete the folder “Outpost” that contain it meshes and see if it work.
It didn’t work it loads sometimes and says out of memory but thats rare and it opens closes fast before editor screen
it’s not giving a crash report its closing
What your pc spec ?, it possible as your project getting bigger, the assets are taking more space in the memory.
Otherwise, i would recommend to try with a fresh version ue5.4 and see if it still the same issue.
it was so cool though my project
should i copy the content folder?
my old projects work but this ones closes without a crash report
From the epic launcher, install ue5.4
Then make a copy of your project, and switch it version:
I will try that
I forgot to make a copy, testing now- compiling shaders.
It worked
