Please assist me with this, perhaps there is a solution or a best Course Of Action to minimize loss of my work. To say this project has sort of become my life would be putting it mildly.
Ideally I would like to continue using 4.13 since I was hoping to integrate a few of the purchases I made from the Cyber Monday sale.

This crash appears to be some sort of corruption with your MainChar asset. I’d recommend moving the asset from your project’s Content folder onto your desktop for testing and then try to open the project without that asset in it. If it opens successfully, you can be sure that it is MainChar that is the problem.
If this is the case, you’ll need to either recreate the asset or grab an older version from your project’s Saved->Backups folder if one exists and move that into your project’s Content folder.
