First off, I would like to thank Epic Games who published the course in Coursera and all the mentor and special thanks to @3dRaven for doing your best to answer my questions and I cannot wait to learn more from my upcoming courses. I love third person games but in the video walk through I decided to do it first person so people can focus in the environment, sounds and what you see. Thanks
I would suggest demonstrating the video on a packaged version of the project. It will run a lot smoother without the overhead of the engine in the background.
You could also try experimenting with color grading in the post process volume to get a more unique visual style and color tone. Now the mid tones seem a little dull.
I would make the shadows colder and try out different combinations for mid-tones (maybe warmer to contrast the shadows).
You will also need to look into making a dialogue system. There is a built in plugin that may be a good start for your project.
I would also suggest checking your shader complexity. There is a view for this
alt + 4 => lit mode
alt + 8 shader complexity view.
If your vegetation is red then then try switching the grass materials from translucent to masked and hooking up the mask node in place of the opacity node.
Donβt forget to add some landmarks that will make areas more unique and easier for the player to navigate.
You could also make a youtube account and upload videos there. Just mark them as unlisted and you can embed streamed videos inside of your message without the need for people to download an mp4 file.
@3dRaven thanks for all the details feedbacks, I will look into all of these things today after my class. I am now learning Blueprint Scripting starting today. Have a nice day man and thanks again for all the information. You are amazing.
@3dRaven I updated and created YouTube channel which means no more video download.
