it worked before i added folliage and some characters but even if i remove it now it doesnt work anymroe.
Its semi obvious which pictures are what… but if you don’t mind labeling them Before After What i have now
It appears your height data is still there is the landscape black in the viewport aswell?
It appears that your landscape material went for a walk so to say…
Just reapply the layer info and material and it may come back
Always backup your projects as unreal has many quirks that result in the project becoming nearly useless

hi this did not work, you need to think of it like everything on this square is gone and nothing new can be applied. like a black hole lol the only fix was to delete the entire landscape and make it new.
I fixed it by opening a new level and just copying everythign except folliage onto the new level
