Hi, so I’m pretty new to UE4, and when I load up some Marketplace materials and try to put them on my landscape, or other objects, it just turns checkers or black, and the sample turns to checkers. How do i fix this? Thanks in advance.

Yes, after doing what you did in the video, you have to actually go into PAINT mode to put the material on the landscape:

Hi, thanks for responding to my question. When I try to paint, it just paints nothing, and there are no layers.
So you’ve assigned the layers? ( in the above picture you would then have file names in the slots under Dirt, Grass, Snow ).
