My Jump Attack won't play properly- Seems to be fighting other animations

I’m having trouble with a jump attack montage. It seems to only play the last half second of the anim, and looks like it is fighting with the other animations from the animation blueprint. I’ve included images of my work, and I’m not sure what to add to make this functional.

You may want to switch to “Play Montage”, which will allow much more flexibility. You do have to pass in your skeletal mesh instead of “Self” for that one. If you click on the node and go to the “Details” window, you can actually determine which slot you wish to use, and in this case it looks like you should use the final available slot. That should keep any other animations from overriding it! :slight_smile:
