My game of Squad has been crashing every time I play... This is the error code! Please help!

Welcome to the Unreal Forums! The error ‘DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED’ generally means your GPU is losing contact with your computer. This could be due to a number of different reasons. Have you monitored your GPU temps while playing Squad? This has been a culprit of that issue for some users in the past. It can also be an issue with graphic drivers. Those are the two areas that I would start with and see if it resolves the crash. I hope that this helps!

what to do with it?

I have the same error message, have you found a way to fix it yet

SAME PROBLEM HERE PLEASE FIX THIS. I PLAY OPERATION HARSH DOORSTOP ON HIGH GRAPHICS AND I DONT GET THIS ISSUE TO START UP THE GAME. ALSO MANY OTHER GAMES WORKS JUST FINE. I HAVE PURCHASE THIS SQUAD GAME AND HAVE NOT GET A CHANCE TO PLAY BECAUSE OF THIS.

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forums. I see a number of people here had this same issue in the past. I’m actually fairly familiar with that error as a gamer myself. It’s the ‘DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED’ error. It can be tricky to fix. If you Google that particular line there are many many people who have ran into this. I’d be happy to walk through some processes and see if we can get it fixed. To get started are there any steps you’ve already taken? (Driver reinstallations, NVidia Control Panel reset settings to global default, etc) If not, I’d start by resetting the NVidia Control Panel settings to global default. Also make sure if you’re running DLSS or Shadowplay that those are disabled as well.

What helped me was switching from DirectX 12 to DirectX 11, the error disappeared

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forum. I have also had success swapping to Dx11 from Dx12. I’ve so people have success removing and reinstalling GPU drivers, resetting Nvidia Control Panel settings to global default, as well as a simple verification of Squad files. I’d definitely recommend anyone running into this to try those three things up front.

I also had THE SAME thing with the same error message all you have to do is go to your graphics setting in squad and change DirectX12 setting to DirectX11 than all the crashing stops hopes this heps
