My FBX file doesn't work in UE5 Simulator

On UE5, I imported a common rigged cloth in FBX. But the common FBX falling piece of the clothing, I can’t understand why and how to fix it, there’s something that I’ve missed into the preparation or optimization of the FBX?

Hey @alex970912!

To help get the ball rolling, it’s not quite clear what your error is. Are you referring to the physics simulation of the asset you are working on? Can you share screenshots and videos of what is happening?

Any additional specifics and info you provide will go a long way in solving your problem!

@alex970912
This issue is probably because when directly converting skeletal meshes into cloth, the mesh lacks stitching relationships, causing single meshes to fall under the influence of gravity.

Solution: Set a stitching threshold during conversion, where vertices below this threshold will automatically stitch together.

This manual includes instructions on how to handle importing FBX files into UE. Perhaps you could review it to see if there are any differences between your process and the steps outlined in the manual: General Mesh Simulation | Style3D Simulator User Guide

@Style3D_CG_official Thank you, I’ve tried it and it worked!

@Quetzalcodename Thank you! My problem has been resolved now.
