So i was doing my usual epic games stuff and i wanted to change my account so i did…and when i press the logout button my epic games just keeps stopping and starting on a constant loop…idk how it happens but i already reinstall, use the command center fix button…and it still doing that…anyone have any fix?
Hi ashara here, yesterday night I was invited (little orange dot) to update the Launcher, since then I’ve exactly the same issue. Followed the tips to solve it, reinsalled it etc. doesn’t help. is ther a fix available?
Ashara again, engines 4.24 and 4.26 are still installed and working. 4.25 is removed maybe because of reinstalling the Launcher.
Some thing wrong with Epic game. Since yesterday I didn’t install anything. This morning start Epic, it keeps blinking and can not open as usual.
same problem for me, really annoying !
ok, thanks. so probably not installation related. is epic aware of this?
Hi Zachariah, thanks, works. Have to repair 4.24 and 4.25 engines but that’s all. Thanks again for this!
it’s worked for me:
(answer from Yazcg)
from Epic Games Launcher Opening and Closing Bug. - YouTube
Zachariah Brown: 1 年前 open your device manager, go to display adapters disable your Nivida Display, launch epic games, enable it again this worked for me, hope it helps
The last answer is correct. Well, the newly updated 11.0.0 launcher’s problem is with the GPU. If you have a dedicated GPU, it will try to run on the GPU, which is possibly causing problem. If you have a laptop, or a Desktop with integrated GPU, Go to Advanced Graphics Settings and set Epic games launcher and unreal engine launcher from the installation path to use the integrated GPU. Since it can’t use it run apps, it should run on the CPU, which may help, while other applications, including the Unreal Engine, should be able to use the dedicated GPU. Epic Games must be aware of it.
pity is you need to do the workaround after every reboot, hoping for a fix
While I enjoy a disco mode for my launcher, it became unusable.
I just had to change the Epic Games launcher from integrated graphics to GPU using the NVIDIA control panel. Now the launcher works perfectly fine.
Tried that and some other things in the NVidia CP, no effect, still playing strobo light Hope there will be a fix soon. Luckily got the GPU enable/disable workaround. Using Acer Aspire 7 with GTX1650
Downloaded the new Launcher 11.0.1 and the issue is fixed. EPIC, thanks!!
Absolutely NOTHING is working. I can’t open the Epic Launcher because of the Update Loop and can’t access my assets. It verifies Update then gives me the Unsupported Graphics Card (I’ve tried -OpenGL, reinstall Launcher, directX stuff, everything).
