My Content - Repair?

I could not see the content when I loaded the projects and on the launcher it says repair next to Content Examples under my content. When I clicked it, it says in queue. Is it because so many people are trying to download it or is there a problem with my install?

Hi Gobliness,

Could you please post your system’s dxdiag and also the launcher’s log files? Could you please retrieve the Launcher log report and post it here? It is located here (Replace with your windows user name): C:\Users\AppData\Local\UnrealEngineLauncher\Saved\Logs

Please also try reinstalling the launcher and download again.

Thank you,

The content examples work now and I didn’t re-install, just re-booted. So, I have no clue what that is about.

The log at that time seems to have been over written, but it doesn’t seem as if anything is wrong now when I checked the current logs.

Thank you for your help!

its happening to me right now

Hi maxdark,

Would you mind creating a new post so we can track your specific issue? When you do please include your dxdiag and your logs located in \projectname\saved\logs\ so we can better assist you. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi,

I can’t repair some content too. Log.

When I downloaded Shooter Game the first time, I had precompiled Unreal Engine v4.02 in f:\dev\ue4. Then I compiled cutting-edge sources from GitHub and upgraded to v4.1. After that the Shooter Game wouldn’t work saying something like “rebuild module”. I did not bother and removed the project and tried to download it again - and here we are, it hangs up saying “in queue”. Cleaning directories in C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\UnrealEngineLauncher did not help, looks like the cache is somewhere in the net. How can I work around the problem?

P.S. How can I change the default directory C:\Users\User\Documents\Unreal Projects where downloadable content is kept?

solved  its happening because of my computers user name. something like “ç,ş” letters.
