In blender I made an animation of my character walking and idling, but when I export it to unreal engine everything is fine except for his left leg. I can’t find out what’s wrong with it and even redid the animations but it didn’t fix it.
Above is my model in blender, working as it should.
And this is my model when imported to Unreal. It almost looks like the bones are inverted, but I’ve applied all transforms to both the mesh and the skeleton and I also checked the bones individually and found no discrepancies.
Here’s a link to the blend file if anyone needs it: CharacterFile.blend (1.4 MB)
That’s so bizarre, after I made this post I went and redid my skeleton from scratch and it worked just fine after the import, even though I did the exact same steps and it had the same hierarchy.
However, since I fixed the issue myself and you gave a solution that seemed to work fine on your end I’m just going to say this is solved! Thanks for the response
