Hey i have the problem, that i followed some Video Tutorials, but used Animation & Character from Mixamo. Now i have the issue that the Animation “LOOPING” for some reason and stucking around. Here a small video demonstration:

I am not alone with it. In the commentarys of the videos i found many people have same problem, but no answers.
This is not looping, this is the bad animation problem.
to fix this open this animation in blender, remove all the location transforms from the animation and reimport the animation.
or post the animation .fbx file with its skeleton, I will fix it for you in seconds.
yes this is the same thing, if you check this box In Place mixamo will not add any location transforms… its means the mesh will stay in place and will not change its location.
You can remove the location transforms from any animation in blender if the animation is not mixamo.

This isn’t a bad animation. It’s an animation that has root motion, which you sometimes may need.
The new UE5 Orientation Warping feature actually depends on having the walking animations to have root motion if you use the “Graph” option.
I took some ALS animations that didn’t have root motion and added it in engine. To answer your question about how to remove it, you can do the same by editing the root bone to not have the transform that it does in the final frame.
This actually adds an additive track to a bone so the original data isn’t lost. If you want to cleanly remove it completely, you usually need to edit that in something like Blender or Maya and import it into the engine.
Or use the control rig feature to save out an animation after you modify it that way.
