I have successfully set up a melee combo using AnimMontage in animation blue prints using state machine…
But the problem is that i cannot move when montage is playing…i want my character to set direction of melee when montage is playing.
If your animation/montage has root motion then it will override your movement controls while it is playing. Turning off root motion in the anim blueprint or the animation will let you handle your movement on your own.

Solved my issue, when my character stopped playing a montage with no root motion enabled.
