I’ve made a skeletal mesh character in Blender 2.8 made sure to apply all scales and transforms then imported the FBX into UE4. When I parent a camera to the character’s head bone the camera scales to an absurd size. This only happens with my custom blender model.
Same thing happened when I parented a collision capsule to my character’s head bone. Also have no idea why. Did you ever figure it out?
(I also created my character and skeleton in Blender)
I wish I could tell you how to fix the Armature, but no. I can give you a fix for the camera though! Select the camera you are using for the first person view and if you look to the left of the scale parameters of the camera, I opened the pop up selection and chose to make it use the world scale rather than relative scale. I hope this helps anyone in the future!
