My animation has 10x scale on three joints for some reason

Here is what my T-pose looks like, Every joint except the root has scale 1,1,1, which is fine.

But when I preview my animation, the three joints connected to the pelvis (but not the pelvis itself) has scale 10,10,10.

Also for some reason I can’t type “1” in the scale box while the animation is playing, but I CAN use the scale tool with the mouse. So I can tell that the animation looks right if I get the scale down to one.

Does anyone know why this might happen or if it’s possible to manually fix it after importing? The animation is made in Maya and the joints all have normal scales there. I’ve also tried re-importing the animation into Maya in an empty scene and that looks fine. edit: AND I’ve tried importing it into Unity and it’s looks fine there too.

Update: I managed to fix it by enabling “convert scene unit” in the import options (it was imported with an .fbx file). This made it too small so I also changed the import scale.

I would love to know if this was a bug or not, the animation looked fine in every other program I tried it in.
