Multiple roots FBX Import problem

I use 3ds Max and to rig my models and have been doing fine in UDK. I wanted to try and import a model I rigged for a UDK project and kept getting the multiple roots failure. I tried messing with the export settings and I’m using the latest FBX plugin to export it. I’m wondering what that error means and what I can do to solve it. UDK never gave me a problem and I’d like to know if this is something that’s being worked on.

Multiple roots means that in your object hierarchy there are multiple parent objects that everything else links off of. For instance if you have a Biped rig everything would link down to a single object: Bip01
So you must have more than one object there
