We are currently looking to hire an experienced, talented and passionate Game Designer. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing systems and balancing gameplay mechanics. A strong literacy in game design and the ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas in both written and verbal forms. Work independently with little supervision if needed, and collaborate with other disciplines to deliver a high-quality product. [HR][/HR]
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and plan systems, features, mechanics, and content through pre-production, release, and project lifetime.
  • Balance game pacing/progression and in-game resources/economy to optimize both retention and monetization
  • Design adaptable online + social features aligned with the creative and game directions (e.g. game modes, multiplayer matchmaking, ranking systems, leaderboards, player expression, chat systems, clan systems, etc.)
  • Communicate designs and design rationale clearly
  • Collaborate with art and programming disciplines to achieve project goals
  • Take initiative in creative problem-solving and collaborating as needed to facilitate effective resolutions
  • Respond to feedback, analytics, and test results in a constructive manner with logical and reasoned suggestions/solutions to improve on designs
  • Maintain game documentation as needed throughout the lifecycle of the project

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working on at least one MMORPG as a game designer
  • Demonstrable expertise in game mechanics design and tuning
  • Mastery of the Unreal Engine 4 components related to your work field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate ideas clearly
  • Willingness to push the envelope and innovate within game parameters
  • Ability to give and receive feedback

We are looking to hire an experienced Level Designer who will be responsible for level creation, AI Encounters, and scripting. Work with the Game Designers and Programmers to design, implement and maintain levels and encounters. Collaborate with Programmers and Artists to ensure effective integration of game design, art, animation, and technology. Troubleshoot design elements; implement bug fixes and iterations based on need. Work with the testing department throughout the project to ensure the game plays and performs as intended. [HR][/HR]
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify requirements necessary for the creation of 3d environments and execute it in Unreal Editor
  • Visually communicate the function of a space using basic shapes
  • Design and prototype engaging gameplay scenarios that will enhance the player’s experience
  • Work closely with the art and design teams to create and refine the gameplay experience
  • Integrate and participate in the direction and gameplay narrative
  • Implement and script combat and cinematics
  • Gather the team’s feedback on fun and gameplay inside the levels

We are looking to hire a Technical Artist who can take charge of content-related technical decisions related to the game. This includes visual research and development, creating benchmarks as well as defining processes, pipelines and best practices. As the link between programmers and the art team, the Technical Artist will also assist in evaluating new technologies, supervising content budgets and monitoring performance across multiple consoles. The Technical Artist is expected to take the initiative to interact directly with all disciplines in order to ensure that the Art team has all the necessary tools required to maintain the optimum delivery of art assets.
