Multiple meshes in one scene/ low FPS

If you do it right, you should be able to get a large landscape with a fair amount of foliage to run ‘reasonably’… If your default empty level is 120 fps, after making this level it could easily be down to, say, 60 fps or lower. It really depends on machine spec, but that’s a rough guide.

If it’s a large landscape, don’t use the foliage tool. Why bother when you can do it with a landscape grass type. Either way, you grass and rocks etc will be instanced.

What framerate are you getting, what’s your machine spec?

Hi, I have huge terrain in my scene, i would like to put a lot of rocks on my landscape but my FPS are very low.
Is there any way to use different rocks and copy them like instance? I used foliage tool, procedural foliage spawner and my LOD are fine. What can I do to optimize my scene?

Hi, thanks a lot. I already used Quick Grass Tool, it’s better than foliage tool, thanks. My fps are around 48 right now, about my machine I have Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER, so should handle it.
