Multiple Expots

Hi

I’m a begginer in unreal engine development, and just started optimising our Virtual Staging to Unreal Engine 5 to make a full interactable .exe . However our building plans are made in SketchUp and the rest are made in Blander. Either way when i used Datasmith or Twinmoition, or both to make a nomal map from it i ran into multiple problems.

  1. If i import either a datamith either an fbx file from SkatchUp Pro, my character will fall through it.
  2. If i import from Blander the whole phere of object will be a static mash and the object organization groups will fall apart creating a real mess.

I know this will be a long theme.

On static meshes imported through datasmith, make sure you have collision on the geometry that are walls and floor.
