Multiple Detail Windows

Is there an option to have multiple mesh detail windows open at the same time? For example say I want to compare the settings of two static meshe actors(SM). In UE3 I could open up SM actor A and lock its actor window properties and then open SM actor B and lock its actor window properties and compare the two. However in UE4 I can only open up one details window at a time. Is there something that I am missing here? I have searched for an answer on here but did not find one so I will continue clicking and if i do figure out how to do it I will report back.

I don’t know the specifics of the Details panel and having multiple instances, but You could use the Property Matrix to compare property values of multiple Actors or Assets.

Yeah I was looking into that but it only seems to open one copy of whatever you had selected before. So while the functionality is there its not as easy to use as the last system in UE3.

I realize this is 6 years later, but you can bring up multiple detail windows via Window > Details. You can have up to 4 detail windows open. I locked one of them to a selected object, then used Details 2 on a new selection. This gave me the ability to inspect each component side by side. The property matrix doesn’t let you view each component, just the base.
