Is it ok to use multiple datasmith files to give extra control rather than just one large import?
Have found certain simple wall and door frame meshes which have been converted to poly are showing black, which isn’t what I would expect from such a simple object. Intend to reduce these out as smaller datasmith files.
Any initial thoughts as to what causes this? Would adding a quadrify mesh modifier and collapsing it
solve this?
Yes you can get import several ds file for organization purposes. However that won’t solve the black appearance problem. Send us your file we can have a look. I suspect a normals orientation problem and curious to understand what happens.
