I’ve got a question that may be complicated, but I’m trying to set up a system basically the way multiplayer works in most of the LEGO games where if there’s only one player, a companion just follows player 1 but if player 2 presses a button on their controller, they take control of the companion character and move them around. Any idea how I would accomplish this? Thanks

Your idea sounds great and it seems like you may want to possess the AI. Possession great if you wish to quickly change the playable character or even use a vehicle. Here is the documentation on possession.
