Multichannel audio out of MetaSounds / UE5

Hi there!

Can anyone advise on how I might get multiple discrete channels of audio out of MetaSounds / UE5 to an external or virtual Soundcard, to send out for external processing?

I’m aware that MetaSounds can output a maximum of two channels, so I would need a mono MetaSounds per object / channel I want to send out.

I do want the audio to be tied to an actor in terms of it’s variables and X/Y position, but I want to pass this audio and data out to an external processor rather than having it mixed in the games engine if this makes sense?

Very much from a sound rather than games engine background here in case you can’t tell!

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give

Hi, I am too eager to have a direct solution in MS. In the meanwhile, have you tried assigning the MS to a mix, and then assign that mix to a device output channel? Should be possible

Thanks for your input Jab! I will speak to my people to see how to achieve this!
