Hi,
So I have a project I’m sharing with somebody else using the Multi-User Editor. The problem we’re having is some of the assets that I drag in, the other person doesn’t have access to/can’t see them on their end. We think it’s because one of us may not have the asset. So for example, I made a blueprint in another project and migrated it over to our shared project. I can edit it and play with it on my end, but they can’t see it being added to the world or in our shared content drawer. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
I’m having the same issue. Hope someone answers!

So the closest that we got to getting it to work is if they add the asset to the project on their end, they have to right click it in the content drawer and click “RE-SAVE” and then give it some time to load into the other person side of the project. Sometimes it doesn’t say “re-save” and I’m not sure why. But just hit Ctrl+Shift+S and give it some time to load.
I will try, thanks for replying.

Ok so I figured out how to share anything you want and make sure it updates on their end correctly. You have to put whatever you want into a folder, and if you want to update that asset or have it show up on their end, you have to right-click on that folder that the asset is in and click resave and it will update for everybody. Just make sure your version is the version you want everybody to have.
I am having similar problem, i didn’t solve it how you proposed, the resave didn’t do anything, we kind of figured out that only internal options are updated immediately, external assets such as exported max files didn’t work for us, so my collegue modeled everything and imported and then i joined.
If you are using Cesium, you both need to click refresh so that it updates but it is working ok.
We ended up switching to Perforce and it has been tremendously easier and more efficient for us.
How do you like the perforce? We have it and are just having issues with it.
thank You so much. Issue SOLVED!
Perforce is great! We definitely run into problems all the time, but I think that’s just because we’re still somewhat new to the system.
