Multi Line Editable Text Box, stuck to one line 4.5

Want to display a paragraph of information to users. Created a Multi-Line Editable Text Box and pasted in the text field but it still constrains to one really long line.

Looking through all the options I don’t see how MultiLineEditableTextBox is any different from just EditableTextBox.

Am I missing something or is the tool just not finished?

Hey ProfQuest2-

Is this something you’re seeing when entering text into the text box through the editor or when you use the text box ingame (more like chat window).

Hey,

I have a similar problem. I want to “Set Text” in the Text box with a Text (chat System) but I have not found the possibility to make a new line.

Via the editor. Was hoping there would be an Auto Wrap-Text check box like in the TextBlock tool.

Hey guys-

I have confirmed that the multi line editable text box does not wrap text to a new line both in editor and have submitted this bug to our internal tracking system (UE-4632) for further investigation.

Any update on this? I too need multiline text block to be able to handle \n or \r\n
