Sorry to ask this question but I can find some answers about UE4 and their projects but nothing about the ark Dev Kit.
The Ark dev kit became too much bigger And I want to move all the files to one other HDD. I moved the files, i tried to unistall and install again the ark dev kit but when I select the right folder it says " Directory not empty" !
I tried to rename the moved file as “H:\Ark DevKitOld”, installing the devkit at location “H:\Ark Devkit”, closing the UE luncher, deleting the \Ark devKit folder and rename the \Ark DevKitOld to \Ark DevKit but on resuming the dowload, the luncher comeback to his old Download location on the drive D:\
What can I do to don’t have to download again the DevKit? I’m french so I have a slow connection !
Hello thx for the tip but I have to explain…; I’m in the case of new installation of the Ark dev kit, to explain the situation: What i need to do if I have to restore my system and reinstal the ark dev kit ? I want to reinstall the dev kit with my backed up files and without download them. It’s possible?
Sorry but i’m french and sometime it’s realy difficult to explain some situation
I recently tried to move the dev kit to another drive and it kind of worked. I copied everything over and verified, but it seemed like it still said it was downloading for hours as it verified. It wasn’t the full amount but it was still enough that I think next time I will just completely re-download it to save the space of a backup.
