Movie Render Graph not rendering the Additional PPM

When toggling the Additional Post Process Materials in the “Deferred Node” of MRG, the output image sequence is completely black with alpha channel being completely filled with “1” value for every pass selected (depth, world position etc.). The legacy Movie Render Queue is rendering those without any issues, except when toggling “Accumulator Includes Alpha” to true in Deferred Rendering settings (which is gone in MRG settings), which is causing the same effect as MRG (black images with alpha channel filled with 1 value) - if I render these passes to .jpg sequence (which obviously doesnt support transparency) the passes are fine and everything looks as it should.

I have my Alpha related project settings enabled, I have tried removing sky and atmosphere actors from the scene along with setting “MoviePipeline.AlphaOutputOverride” to 0 and nothing works so far. Any help would be appreciated.

I just tried this in 5.7.2 and could not repro your issue. Are you able to share an example image?

Sure, here is my MRG graph

and here are the output images

Let me know if you need anything else.

Ahh I see. The information is there in the RGB but your viewer is premultiplying it out. I’ll report the alpha issue on the graph to the devs.

Do you mean that the issue is with how the image viewer I have used in my screenshot above displays the output data? Here are the output images rendered in .png, .exr and .jpg for comparison and viewed in DJV

.png’s WorldNormal Red Channel

.exr Single-Layer WorldNormal Red Channel

.jpg WorldNormal Red Channel

All other channels in .png and .exr output are empty/black.
