I’m pushing the production level of my characters. I want to make it look much more cinematic. I also put a lot of effort into the design stage.
This is my first character sculpted using ZBrush. I textured it using Substance Painter.
Finally after years of effort I am reaching a level where I am happy with the result

Yes, the mainstreet fantasy designs are always the same copy-paste concepts. I spend a lot of time searching for something more beautiful and unique.

This style of clothing and weapon choice reminds me so much of Monster Hunter. All she needs is a little cat familiar to be following her around she’s ready for combat! Plus maybe a giant great sword for a bit of spice.
Also, huge congratulations on all the hard work paying off. Your work is absolutely stunning and you should definitely be proud of what you have created. The sweater alone is remarkable, it looks so cozy and beautifully tailored.
Is there any chance we could get a sneak peak into your plans about your movie? I’d love to learn more about the world this phenomenal character lives in.

I’m having a great week getting a little rest after working on this character. But I already started with the next one

Yes, I spent a lot of time creating the sweater, the last touch was to give it a layer of frizz groom to make it feel more hairy and comfy.
I have all the script and the animatic finished. My idea is to go little by little publishing more. But it’s hard because I have another job and I do this in my free time.
My next big goal is to finish and publish a complete 3min scene from my movie, with voice actors, music, body and facial mocap, etc.

I absolutely adore the misty forest look. I can practically hear the tree creaking-owl hooting-eerie forest groans already. I’m so genuinely excited to see what this becomes.

Yes, the tone is going to be dark fantasy and mystery, but also is going to have an uplifting adventure element.
