I was wondering if anyone could help tell me why my movement animation isn’t working. I’ve made duplicates of a character skeletal mesh, and properly assigned dupes of the skeleton, physics asset and animation BP. Ive got copies of the characters original animations/ aim offset & movement blend (properly targeted to the new skeleton). I’ve not edited skeleton or mesh, everything is as it was default, and i’ve done my best to make sure all options are set as they were on the original files. All the animations are working fine inside of the Anim BP, but when i test it in the PIE none of the the movement animations work - only the animation montages which you can set manually in the character BP seem to be working.
The only setting that differs from the originals is the ‘Use Aim Offset’ within the Anim BP options, which I have had to untick as it warps the mesh when it is ticked. Ive tried created new matching Aimoffsets based on my skeleton but still have the same issue (and i dont know if this is even related to the movement anim issue).
Any help would be appreciated. I feel like im just missing a simple option here but ive tried everything i can think off to sort it
