Move Sequencer in Editor with Actor relative transform


I was wondering if there was a way to set a sequencer asset to be able to have its contained actors treat the sequencer position as their origin, so that if you were to move the sequencer, the objects within would then move as if they had a new origin point.

I know it exists with this method below, but as far as I know, its purely runtime, so you aren’t able to visualise the results in editor.

I’ve played around with attatching all contained actors to a ‘root’ position, that you can then offset and have them follow, but it seems like a bit of a workaround to something that should be simpler. Has anyone experienced this issue or had any luck in working past this problem?


i like using a box as the origin , and just parent things to that
then turn the box to invisible in game mode
