I’m trying to imitate the collision seen in smash bros or Rivals of Aether. If two characters are overlapping and they aren’t falling or attacking I want them to push away from eachother depending how far one pawn is overlapping on either side. For ex: if a pawn is overlapping more on the right side of the pawn they will push back to the right and the same for the left
Hi man , just check the distance between the two char location.
If is < of something they are overlapping.
you can get the vectors that point away from another actor
subtracting in the right order the two locations.
Knowing how much is their distance you can give them an impulse stronger of weaker.
