Mouse curser disappears every time i connect a node. how to fix?

Since last night my curser keeps disappearing everytime i connect a node and only reappears when i ctrl+s, also there are no hover over text boxes anymore

i still see icons change when they are hovered and the curser appears when i am over another window other than unreal.

any ideas what could be causing this issue?

Edit I had to update my GPu drivers
