Motion warp does not rotate the character

When I assassinate an enemy (using motion warp), my player character correctly translates to the correct referenced location behind the enemy, however, the player character rotates for a split second and snaps back to where it was facing originally.

Animation blueprint should not be a problem as the problem still exists even if I disable every locomotion system in the blueprint and only play the assassinate montage.

Is anyone experiencing this as well? Please help :slight_smile: thanks!

I fixed it by disabling controller rotation yaw before playing the animation and enabling it back afterwards
