motion sickness and nausea working with unreal engine

First unreal engine is awesome, but i have a question!

When I’m working with Unreal Engine, I get headaches, and when I show my project to some people, they also get sick.

I’ve already turned off motion blur and tested various anti-aliasing options.

I play FPS games and never have problems with games like Battlefield, CS, etc. Games made in Unreal make me feel sick; the only game that doesn’t make me sick that uses Unreal is Delta Force.

Games like Gray Zone Warfare also give me headaches.

I really want to find out the reason for this; if anyone has found a solution, I would be grateful.

My config is high FPS and motion blur Off

Hello there @marcelobr!

No worries, this problem pops up here and there in the community, and from what I saw, it’s related to a combination of factors. You have already disabled motion blur, and tested with AA. I would suggest fully disabled DoF in your scene, via console command, set it to zero:

r.DepthOfFieldQuality 0

You also use scalabilty settings in your viewport, to set the scene at lower values (try either Low or Medium), which will disable multiple effects, and make your FPS stable, reducing the chance of triggering motion sickness:
