I am having the same issue. I was following the Unreal Engine 5 Beginner Tutorial - UE5 Starter Course tutorial. When I paint the trees, the first one of each type will come out fine but all others after that have issues. The ones with issues will stretch up and shrink down way past where the good trees do and have a motion blur issue. I have them all set to movable. The trees already came with some wind enable on them and I added a foliage actor as per Unreal Sensei’s instructions. I’ve tired removing the foliage actor since I feel like this may be a wind issue but that didn’t work. I haven’t been able to find any fixes in my search but I did see that this may just be a bug in the current version with nanite.

If you find a fix please let me know!

I found a tutorial to fix this issue. Try following along with Nanite Foliage Fix for Unreal Engine 5.1 + Z axis crazy movement and see if that fixes your issue!

Thank you for finding this tutorial
