Motion Graphics Tool - Windows Build Not Working

Hi

Using Unreal 5.5.3

Using the motion design tool to create some interactive visuals, however building for windows, the cloner and effect is not there. The Text actor shows up but nothing else.

Can anyhow shed any light on this or any solutions, or is the motion design tool not currently supported in packaged form?

We are also having this issue, I’m fairly certain this used to work in 5.4 as we were using Motion Design in a packaged VR game. Could be a bug?

Have tried the usual checks and fixes such as usage flags, disabling nanite, megalights and other 5.5 features with no success. If anyone can shed some light that would be great thank you.

I’ve found a solution for this, after digging deeper into how the systems work. It’s a bit more technical to set up but the advantage is that it actually makes it more powerful and easier to even get around a bug because of channel identifiers changing with the number of effectors in a a level, and so their connection to cloners being lost at restart of the level.

One can build cloners inside of BPs, unlike the motion designer actor also as an added bonus.
