Motion Design: Material designer X-order rendering displays incorrectly

Trying out the new 5.4 update with the motion design plugin since I’m a TV Graphics engineer and found this bug where i have a text displayed ontop of a container and at a certain moment the text is hidden depending on the angle of viewing, here’s some screenshots.
Also is there any good way to make the camera orthographic?


The “Translucency Priority” modifier was made to solve this type of problems. You can add that modifier to these actors. Translucent materials have issues with depth as they’re drawn in a different pass. These modifiers do the work for you by automatically setting the translucency priority. I prefer doing it by how the items are ordered in the Motion Design Outliner.

NOTE: For this to work as expected, you will need to make sure that “Enable Order Independent Transparency” is turned off in project settings. This is an experimental feature that also looks to solve this translucency vs depth problem.
