Morph target weights stays on 0 therefore not working

I imported a rig with morph targets, which I can see in the morph target preview. but when I preview my animations I can see that all the morph targets’ weights are staying on 0 and that the blendshapes don’t show in the animation.
what could be the problem?

You may have to reimport the Morph targets, make sure it’s checked on the import or go into the Animation/Mesh, click on morph targets, and try reimporting
