Morgaine Forge - Military Checkpoint - Modular Roadblock Environment

Build a compact military checkpoint or roadblock with modular barriers, fencing, containers, defensive props and camouflage details.

Includes an assembled checkpoint demo, a complete asset overview, container colour examples and sandbag arrangements. Place individual meshes for custom layouts or use the Blueprint assemblies to build common structures.

INCLUDED CONTENT

• Guard container with door and ventilation pieces; ISO container with dark green, dark blue and dark red variants.

• Gate/barrier components, modular fence panels, posts and barbed-wire tops.

• HESCO, concrete barriers and light/heavy Czech hedgehogs.

• Canopy tent, camouflage canopy and eight decorative camouflage strips and patches.

• Sandbag variations with wall, corner, semicircle and U-cover assemblies.

• Military crates, steel drums, pallet, folding chair, speed bump and traffic cone.

• STOP, CHECKPOINT and NO ENTRY signs.

• Five wear decal variants: tyre tracks, foot traffic, dust, runoff and oil spots.

TECHNICAL CONTENTS

51 Static Mesh assets; 13 Blueprint assemblies; 12 master materials; 46 Material Instances; 95 textures up to 2048 pixels; 4 maps. LOD0 range: 156–11,422 triangles per mesh. 40 meshes have four LOD levels; 11 lightweight decorative/sign meshes have one. Tested in Unreal Engine 5.7.4 and 5.8.3 on Windows. No custom code or third-party plugin installation required.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The demo uses dynamic lighting. The guard container is closed and non-enterable. Blueprints are environment assemblies: automatic gate/door interaction, multiplayer logic and a player controller are not included. Thin decorative cloth and sign surfaces do not provide complete blocking collision.

Listing images were rendered in Unreal Engine with Path Tracer; Path Tracer is not required to use the pack. Mobile, VR, consoles and fixed performance targets are not advertised.

AI disclosure: the realistic tyre-track decal texture was created with generative AI assistance.

DOCUMENTATION / QUICK START

Add the pack to a UE 5.7 or 5.8 project. Content is located in /Game/Checkpoint. Open L_Checkpoint_ArtPolish for the assembled demonstration, L_MeshOverview for all meshes, L_ISO_ColorVariants for container colours, or L_Sandbag_Assemblies for sandbag layouts. Units are centimetres. Use Static Meshes individually or place the supplied Blueprint assemblies; gameplay interactions are not included. Use dynamic lighting. The guard container is closed and non-enterable. Some thin decorative cloth and sign surfaces do not provide blocking collision.

BUILT-IN ENGINE PLUGIN

ContentBrowserAssetDataSource is explicitly enabled in the supplied project to ensure that assets are visible in the Unreal Editor Content Browser. It is included with Unreal Engine; no separate download, purchase or third-party plugin installation is required. It is an editor content-browser component, not a gameplay dependency.

PROJECT STRUCTURE

The project folder is Checkpoint, the descriptor is Checkpoint.uproject, and the single content pack folder is Content/Checkpoint. Documentation is provided on this listing page rather than inside the project ZIP.
