More public assets in UEFN: sounds, icons, music, UI elements, and general content packs

Hello,

I would like to suggest adding a much larger amount of publicly available assets to UEFN for creators.

Right now, having access to more built-in assets would greatly help the community create better and more polished experiences faster, especially smaller creators who do not have the time, money, or skills to make everything from scratch.

It would be very useful to expand the public library with things like:

  • sound effects

  • music packs

  • UI icons

  • interface elements

  • ambient sounds

  • notification sounds

  • stylized textures

  • VFX elements

  • general thematic asset packs

Having more official assets available directly for public use would:

  • save creators a lot of time

  • improve the overall quality of maps

  • help keep visual and audio consistency

  • make prototyping much easier

  • give more opportunities to new creators

It would be especially great if these assets were added in large batches and organized by theme or use case, for example:

  • sci-fi

  • fantasy

  • realistic

  • cartoon

  • horror

  • menu/UI pack

  • combat/audio pack

  • ambient/environment pack

A bigger official asset library would benefit the entire UEFN ecosystem and make creation much more accessible.

Thank you for considering this suggestion.

Adding to the list, I would love to get my hands on some of the character animations. I wouldn’t mind if they were uploaded to a template project or some shared folder somewhere.

I wanted to make custom animations to play on guards. I already tested the system, and it seems to work, but to make the animation work well, I need to blend from/to the idle pose/animation. This is basically where my request comes from. This is not high priority or anything. There must be some workarounds.

do agree with more “default” content for easier use for various themes and mood, or enough for generic cutscenes/scenarios. but as said on another thread, some assets can take longer time or if stuff changes in future (as fortnite could be pushed for UE tech too). as you wouldn’t want more stuff to break and targeting every device (low-end to high-end)

although stuff might go a bit slower on every front, since so many was fired and how many bugs still exist since last update, even when some major ones, was maybe fixed :frowning:
