Ok, so I would like to have my character have a 6-hit combo. The combo will only continue after you keep pressing the button, similar to a hack & Slash style game. But the montage plays everything at once, not what I wanted. Also, while the montage is playing, only the upper body portion of the character, from the waist up, is moving along with the animation while the lower body, from the waist down is just standing still.
I disabled the layered blend bone and the cache nodes and done this, to have the body of my character move entirely.
This also stopped the looping of my montage, but the montage plays entirely befores stopping. I want it to continue playing on to the next part after every button press. Instead, after every button press the montage starts again from the first animation set in it.
