Montage play on weapon not working

Hi,

For my weapon logic to work I need to know when the montage has ended so that I can trigger an auto reload.

Currently below it works however I need to play an anim sequence and a montage, using the montage alone causes errors.
Anyone know why the montage by itself doesn’t work, is this intended?

its you anim instance which is failing not the montage, check in your Weapon Mesh if the animation blueprint is set

I’ve got anim bps set per weapon too and still no dice
