Mole trail

Do you think under snow or sand surface rushing mole rooting what technique you should do it !? Is there someone already completed projects, or perchance seen already this tutorial because I searched a lot but could not find.


For a static gameplay event id use a Spline Component that spawns meshes along it by time, for a controllable actor or enemy spawn a seperate actor that gets placed every x-units when the character is moving around and have them fade out after some time.

An animated texture as the normal map on the texture surface will get the same result for minimal resources if the path is Fixed.
