Modulator broken in Metasounds 5.0.2?

Hi @lantz.anna_1

“Get modulator value” crashes if I try to set it up as an array, input or variable? This is on the latest update 5.0.1 and using metasound sources.

I’m hoping this doesn’t mean arrays are the only way of accessing modulators from now on cos that’s a bit of hoop jumping if you only need one value.

I assume you mean 5.0.2 (was released pretty recently)? But ya, I can see that happening on my end now . . . definitely not intended behavior. I’ll talk to Rob, probably just an accidental regression.

We’re still investigating, but it looks like there’s a load order issue going on. At least on my end, changing LoadingPhase of AudioModulation in AudioModulation.uplugin to “PreDefault” stopped the crashing. We haven’t done thorough testing to make sure that change wouldn’t have knock-on effects yet, though.
