Hi! I just started practicing setting up modular rigs, but in this one I was setting up, I can’t get the shoulder sockets into the spine hierarchy whatsoever. I tried renaming the joints in Maya, deleting and recreating the modular rig, and dragging the arm modules to the spine modules, but the shoulders are always outside the spine hierarchy, which I think results in the arm FK controls also not being part of the spine hierarchy.
I tried creating new shoulder sockets from the shoulder joints and connecting arm modules to them instead, but the arms’ FK controls are still not following the spine.
I’m wondering if this is typical modular rig behavior, or if there’s any way I can make the shoulders part of/parent-constrained by the upper-most spine control.
