MODO/MARI Games Webinar Series

It’s game on! Join our Game Jam webinar series.

This December and January, join us for an exciting series of webinars that will show you how to use MODO and MARI for game asset creation. As you probably know, MODO is our powerful, fully featured 3D content creation package, while MARI is our high-detail, physically based 3D painting solution. Used together, these two applications offer tremendous flexibility for asset creation, and we’re going to show you both how and why.

The most frustrating thing about learning a new application is, well, learning a new application! Specifically, learning the basic concepts behind how an application works. This series of webinars is intended to get you up to speed using MODO and MARI, fast. In each of the webinars, we’ll be showing a different aspect of MODO and how it can be used in game workflows.

Each webinar will also include a special guest speaker, who will give either an interview, or deliver a workflow session or mini tutorial showcasing their own work. You can get more details on the first three presentations and register to attend below. You won’t want to miss these! We’ll send you another email in January with the next set of sessions.

We have the full presentation for Barry in h.264 and will post it ASAP after the webinar concludes. 8)

So you will publish the recordings?

Heya folks. Thanks for attending. Registering and attending helps make it more likely that we can do more of these in the coming year. As for webex and streaming problems in general; I couldn’t agree more strongly. We need another solution… Currently we only scheduled the 3 for this month for this reason. I am hoping we will be using something else for the 4 in January and am currently trying to make that happen. These will only get better as time goes on.

We had Barry pre-record his presentation yesterday on Modo to UE4 rigging and animation. And I’m glad he did because there was a problem and the first 10 minutes was dropped from the stream. We also are putting the video together from Tuesday to go up on youtube/vimeo. I’ll be editing that together this weekend. For now, we have posted barry’s recording since anybody who joined the webinar didn’t get to see those first 10 minutes. All video links will be updated in the following thread and I will post the youtube and vimeo links here once they are available early next week.

We will have the video from webinar 1 available for everyone tomorrow.

Other than that, just heads up. The next webinar will be moved to Twitch.tv:

Woohoo!

Nice I will have to check these out!

Are these recorded and if so where can I watch them?

Is this still happening? As aforementioned, where can they be viewed?
