Creators are getting abused by moderation asking for things that don’t even make sense anymore.
In the past week alone, I have had my game go down without communication because:
-Of the original soundtrack that I MADE was found in a store online which I DISTRIBUTE and thus considered stolen or idk. Nobody told me anyway.
-I had ARROWS in my lobby background image, the image that shows the game entrance, which I added arrows to guide the player to where they need to go. It’s not even the red arrows from thumbnails, its an asset given in a creative gallery in the game, and it was used for level design alone.
-A weapon discharge shown in the trailer of the game. Which was a bow aiming at a target. The players cant be damaged in game, nor can be eliminated. Aiming at a target is now violence for some apparent reason, we should increase the rating of the Olympic games now cause when those bows show, omg the gore!
But good luck telling that or appealing any of those (dumb) decisions back to moderation team. They can flag whatever they want and no one controls them. We are just here to suffer as creators, making broken games that go nowhere.
Why has there been no control to improve this process over the past 6 months? There has been so many complaints about the process, yet nothing truly has changed. Without a proper platform, we cant make games, simple as that. Be better and have someone advocate for creators, we 've had enough.
