Moderation is still broken even after a year of complaints

We have a texture atlas with ads from a content pack. There is a telephone number on it. I ask DevRevl to pass to moderation that they can comb the game all they want, and tell us what we need to fix, to go even extra than normal moderation. That’s so we can fix everything before release and not have any surprises. One notes comes back, which I fix. Then we release.

After a while the map gets flagged 3 times by moderation:

  1. Due to experimental features in the map. Aka nobody told them that we can use the QR Creator device (was allowed, just the system didn’t know it was). This also broke verse persistency in our next build as well, but that’s another talk.

  2. A false attribution. After talking with DevRel, they told me its an error on their part and didn’t share what was wrong in our map. I made another build and it was approved.

  3. An ad in our texture atlas, that had the telephone written on it. That’s great I said, even though I did expect this to be flagged earlier, but anyway I ll fix it. So I blur the telephone number in photoshop using nudge tool, and I submit again. It fails again. However, this time I was on a rush to push a new feature that just came out that is perfect for our map, so I filed an appeal explaining that the asset that was flagged (again, its a texture atlas, I don’t know for sure, nothing tells us what it is exactly) was fixed, but moderation failed the version despite that. Appeal was rejected.

Now we don’t know what happened in ANY of these 3 cases, and in all 3, moderation has failed to either work or communicate. Please do better, we need to make content and sync it with marketing strategies, we cant have random delays like that, especially when we have critical issues to fix.
