I have a UAV image set that I have aligned, which looked normal and well oriented (no tilt). I linked 4 ground control points to the images and when I reprocessed ‘Align Images’ the model is now tilted at an angle. The model seems to be proportionately correct and without distortion, so perhaps I can just readjust the ground plane, but I though it was a strange result considering the model was level without GCP. Should I just ignore it? Thank you for any help.
Hi jherbranson,
do you have some errors on your GCPs in 1Ds view? Can you check if your model is in good position on the map view? Did you use correct coordinate system for your GCPs?
Please, try to disable Camera priors in Alignment tab/Settings/Camera prior settings/Use camera priors for georeferencing/No and then align again.
